Owning & Enjoying
- Tasting notes
-
The nose opens with vibrant aromas of citrus blossom, ripe quince and Key lime zest, accented by subtle tropical notes. The palate reveals bright flavors of passionfruit, Meyer lemon and pineapple core, layered with hints of lemongrass and fresh basil. Electric acidity delivers an immediate mouthwatering sensation, carrying freshness and energy through the mid-palate and culminating in a long, crisp, refreshing finish.
- Pairing
-
Pair with spring greens, delicate fish, fresh shellfish, or tangy goat cheese for a refreshing combination that lets both the wine and the food shine.
Production
- Vinification
-
Crafted in a fresh, vibrant style, this Sauvignon Blanc was fermented entirely in stainless steel under reductive winemaking conditions to preserve its delicate aromatics, bright fruit character and naturally vibrant acidity. Predominantly sourced from Clarksburg, the wine showcases the region's hallmark freshness and expressive varietal character.
Winery
- Winery Description
The Bogle family has been farming in the Sacramento River Delta for six generations. The first 20 acres of vines were planted in 1968 near the small farming community of Clarksburg. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,500 acres of wine grapes in the Clarksburg AVA and other select California winegrowing regions including Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi and Amador and Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the cool Monterey and Russian River Valley AVA’s. The Bogle family’s deep respect for the land and generational commitment to putting consistent, honest value in every bottle is rooted in one over-arching philosophy: the family is involved in every detail of the business. And they are some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet!
