Tasting notes

Our Reserve Chardonnay opens with layered expressions of crisp green apple, ripe pear and backed orchard fruit, evolving into warm tones of nutmeg and clove. Hints of lemon meringue and honey-drizzled graham cracker add a subtle sweetness and lift. On the palate, the wine is rich and viscous, with a creamy texture. Flavors of caramelized apple and spiced pastry unfold across the mid-palate, balanced by lively acidity that keeps the wine fresh and focused. The finish is long and polished, carrying both warmth and brightness.

Pairing

Versatile and balanced, this Chardonnay pairs with everything from a saffron risotto to roast chicken and vegetables.

Production
Vinification

Winery
Winery Description

The Bogle family has been farming in the Sacramento River Delta for six generations. The first 20 acres of vines were planted in 1968 near the small farming community of Clarksburg. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,500 acres of wine grapes in the Clarksburg AVA and other select California winegrowing regions including Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi and Amador and Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the cool Monterey and Russian River Valley AVA’s. The Bogle family’s deep respect for the land and generational commitment to putting consistent, honest value in every bottle is rooted in one over-arching philosophy: the family is involved in every detail of the business. And they are some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet!
