The Vice Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford Batch #204 “Bruce Wayne” 2023

Seductive aromas of toasted coconut, blackberry preserve, and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and concentrated, offering layers of dark cacao, ripe plum, and baking spice supported by fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is long and persistent, tapering gradually with notes of caramel, toffee and vanilla bean.

Rutherford AVA is one of the most influential regions of Napa’s history. It is located in the heart of the Valley with moderately warm climate that is still marginally influenced by early morning fog. Our single vineyard is located right off the CA-Route 29. Rutherford is most famous for its unique “terroir” influence on the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, also known as “Rutherford Dust”.

（Absolutely) Perfect from start to finish. Winter will be remembered as one of the wettest seasons on record in Napa with consistent rain that got us out of the extreme drought. Spring was poetic leading to a mild summer with no heatwaves whatsoever. Harvest was a month behind compared to the past few years. The slow ripening helped the grapes reach a potential that we’ll be talking about for decades to come.
