Product description

Our traditional Chardonnay is designed to balance vibrancy and richness through a dual-fermentation approach. Half of the blend was fermented in stainless steel to preserve its fresh character and bright aromatics, while the remaining portion was barrel fermented in new American oak to build texture, structure and depth. After nine months of aging, the two components were blended thoughtfully to achieve harmony, layering crisp, fruit-driven elements with a round, supple mid-palate and lingering toasty notes.

The Bogle family has been farming in the Sacramento River Delta for six generations. The first 20 acres of vines were planted in 1968 near the small farming community of Clarksburg. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,500 acres of wine grapes in the Clarksburg AVA and other select California winegrowing regions including Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi and Amador and Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the cool Monterey and Russian River Valley AVA’s. The Bogle family’s deep respect for the land and generational commitment to putting consistent, honest value in every bottle is rooted in one over-arching philosophy: the family is involved in every detail of the business.
