Owning & Enjoying
- Tasting notes
-
Sourced from mature vines on our Sutter Ranch vineyard, this heritage varietal highlights Chenin’s hallmark energy and aromatic lift. Aromas of citrus blossoms, cantaloupe melon and white jasmine lead into a palate layered with fresh juicy pear, vibrant lemon and a delicate undertone of ginger. This wine has great mid-palate weight balanced with a mouthwatering snap of acidity that lingers.
- Pairing
-
With a soft, yet substantial mouthfeel, this wine will pair with roasted pork, rich mushroom dishes or aged cheeses.

- Winery Description
The Bogle family has been farming in the Sacramento River Delta for six generations. The first 20 acres of vines were planted in 1968 near the small farming community of Clarksburg. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,500 acres of wine grapes in the Clarksburg AVA and other select California winegrowing regions including Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi and Amador and Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the cool Monterey and Russian River Valley AVA’s. The Bogle family’s deep respect for the land and generational commitment to putting consistent, honest value in every bottle is rooted in one over-arching philosophy: the family is involved in every detail of the business. And they are some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet!
