EOS Pinot Noir 2022
Eos, the Greek goddess of dawn, opened the gates of heaven each morning allowing the sun to rise. Fiercely passionate, she was cursed by Aphrodite for having an affair with Ares. Her punishment was an insatiable appetite for young men. At Eos – the winery – we’re just as passionate as our namesake, but our insatiable appetite is focused toward the production of great wines. Since the mid-1980s, we have built our reputation on dense reds, complex whites and luscious dessert wines from great AVAs throughout the state.

Tasting notes
Our 2022 Pinot Noir exudes aromas of dried strawberry, rhubarb, plum, and earthy spice. The palate offers bright cherry, baking spice, cola, and tobacco. Pair with mushroom & Gruyere tart, grilled salmon, or herb roasted chicken.
Terroir
V I N E Y A R D S
At Eos, we believe great wines cannot be made without great fruit. We source our grapes from quality vineyards in the premiere growing regions of California, including Lake County, Sonoma County and all along the Central Coast. The geographical diversity of these regions yield a plethora of distinct microclimates and results in wines with unique aromas, flavors and texture.
Vintage Notes
The 2022 California growing season began with a dry winter and mild spring with limited rainfall, followed by ideal weather conditions through early summer. A heat wave began in late August that resulted in an accelerated harvest and below average crop sizes, yielding smaller berries with concentrated flavors. Overall, the 2022 vintage produced high quality wines with excellent concentration and flavor complexity.
