OAK KNOLL – Cool marine breezes from the San Pablo Bay create natural acidity contributing to the bright cherry and red fruit characteristics.

YOUNTVILLE – Creates rich red fruit flavors and big tannins-raspberry and ripe cherry.

OAKVILLE – Gravelly alluvial soils force vines to root deep, creating rich, complex wine profiles. The AVA produces red fruit flavors and big tannins - raspberry and ripe juicy cherry.

CALISTOGA - Warm climates produce dark, concentrated fruits — blackberry, brambly berries, and rich color.

• Crafted to showcase ‘Textbook’characteristics of Napa Valley Merlot — lushness and velvetytannins with European restraintand elegance.

• Final blend composed with separate lots sourced from sub-appellations throughout the NapaValley resulting in a well-balanced wine with layered complexity.

• A touch of Cabernet Sauvignon is blended in to provide a strong backbone and tannin structure, which perfectly balances the plush texture of Merlot.
