With a beautiful red robe shimmering in the glass. Super inviting black plum, black and blue berry, sweet cherry, pipe tobacco. A layer of savory herbs; a touch of cool ash. Smooth, full, and delicious!

Vintage Notes

2022 was a unique year for wine grapes in Washington State with slow start due to a late spring, an even and warm summer and one of the longest falls experienced in years. Our vineyards, which consistently produce great grapes harvested fruit that lent itself to extremely special wines this vintage. These wines are firm, bright and beautiful, with lovely aromas.

Vinification

Production: 4.2 tons per acre, native yeast, whole berry fermentation, stainless steel fermentation, 39 days on skins | 10 months aged on lees in stainless steel tanks
Wine Analysis:
5.6 g/L titratable acidity
3.9 pH
no residual sugar

Past Scores
92 Points, James Suckling
“This has a vibrant, berry-soaked character with dried orange peel and red licorice. Medium- to full-bodied and creamy, with velvety texture and cocoa-dusted red berries on the palate. Flavorful finish"
