The Vice Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford Batch #148 “Bruce Wayne” 2021

Opulent notes of toasted coconut, blackberry marmalade and vanilla dominate the nose. The palate is rich and subtle; the entrance features pronounced flavors of dark cacao, plum & spice. The finish is very long and slowly fades leaving a trail of caramel, coconut and vanilla.

Rutherford AVA is one of the most influential regions of Napa’s history. It is located in the heart of the Valley with moderately warm climate that is still marginally influenced by early morning fog. Our single vineyard is located right off the CA-Route 29. Rutherford is most famous for its unique “terroir” influence on the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, also known as “Rutherford Dust”.

The 2021 growing season started off with very little rain and continued to be a record year of drought. The result was also a record low yields and intensely- flavored, small sized berries. It was luckily a smooth and uneventful harvest season.
