Domaine Serene Vineyards and Winery produces exquisite estate grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay made atop the renowned Dundee Hills of Oregon. Its vineyard management and winemaking practices are
designed to ensure complex, concentrated and elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay year after year, and all resources are focused on this goal. Domaine Serene’s farming practices are designed to produce very low crop levels to ensure concentrated flavors - the average yield is only 1.7 tons per acre across all varietals. All of Domaine Serene’s grapes are handpicked and hand-sorted. The various small lots from each vineyard are kept separate in small open-top fermenters and aged in French cooperage selectively sourced from several French forests. There is minimal intervention and only gentle gravity flow movement of wine from beginning to end. Pinot Noir is in barrel about 14-18 months, is not fined or filtered, and is racked only at bottling. The Estate-grown Dijon clone Chardonnay is aged sur lies for 10-15 months in French oak barrels. Bottled wines are aged about one year or longer before release.

From this Winery
The ‘Yamhill Cuvée’ achieves consistency vintage after vintage due to the blending of Pinot Noir from each of our main vineyard estates. Named after the county where the Domaine Serene estates are found, this blend includes fruit from the Yamhill-Carlton, Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity AVAs.
The 2018 ‘Yamhill Cuvée’ is already full of life and sophistication. Introduced by a bouquet of dried rose petals, brandied cherries and pomegranate seeds on the nose, a veil of dried lavender, freshly picked rosemary and French vanilla burst onto the palate. Bright acids, wood tannins and refined structure lead to a harmonious, lingering finish.
The 'Evenstad Reserve' Chardonnay represents the art of blending select barrels from our estate vineyard sites in the Dundee Hills. This combination of Dijon clone vines, Jory soil and the high elevation estates in the Dundee Hills produces fruit of unparalleled quality for this reserve wine.
With our fourth release of Multi-Vintage Brut, we appreciate that we are creating a benchmark and legacy for new world sparkling wine. Inspired by the great Champagnes the Evenstad family has enjoyed throughout their lives, our ‘Evenstad Reserve’ Dundee Hills Brut Multi-Vintage Sparkling Wine is composed of some of our most coveted Single Vineyard sites in the Dundee Hills.
This beautifully expressive release surprises immediately with a fresh mint character on the nose. The fine bubbles open with a welcome burst of graham cracker and pie crust. A touch of almond leads to elegant acidity- which shows more like Meyer lemon on the palate- and a soft, almost velvety mouthfeel to finish.
The art of blending has been the hallmark of the Domaine Serene winemaking program for over 30 years. It is this artistry that has made ‘Evenstad Reserve’ our flagship wine and a benchmark for Oregon Pinot Noir since its first vintage in 1990.
A brilliant ruby red color, the 2019 ‘Evenstad Reserve’ Pinot Noir expresses aromas of dried cherry, dark chocolate and saddle leather on the nose. On the palate, ripples of composed tannins and savory characters of cherry tobacco, ground cloves and allspice reveal themselves, leading to a finish of great concentration and acidity. This Pinot Noir is beautiful on release and will age gracefully in the cellar for years to come.

Coeur Blanc is a unique limited-production white wine made from fully mature Pinot Noir grapes. At harvest, 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes from selected vineyard blocks are handpicked and carefully sorted. The grapes are then gently whole-cluster pressed, limiting contact with the skins so that only the purest essence or "white heart" juice is expressed. The resulting juice is barrel fermented in French oak, then aged on the lees for 14 months prior to bottling.
Light golden in color, the 2017 Coeur Blanc offers alluring aromas of white flowers, white stone fruit and lemon-lime. Electric acidity gives way to a rich mid-palate that showcases layers of deeply complex flavors of peach and exotic notes of lychee. A soft, linen-like minerality leads to a long, beautiful finish. This is easily one of the finest examples of Coeur Blanc that we have ever created.
This dynamic wine delivers a serious, rich palate with focused tanninsand lingering flavor. Polished from start to finish, the 2016 Mark
Bradford exhibits elegant black cherry and marionberry on the nose. These focused and intense aromatics lead to a layered palate that is at once supple and complex, with rich fruit and powerful structure interweaving seamlessly.
The 2016 vintage unfolds with aromas of vanilla shortbread and ginger, mingling with bright notes of white flower, apricot and kiwi fruit. On the palate, crisp yellow apple skins and opulent lemon curd speak to its perfectly intertwined structure and elegance. Technique and terroir are apparent in equal measure here. This wine will continue to reward discerning collectors of great Chardonnay for years to come.
The 2016 Grace Vineyard Pinot Noir exudes complex aromas that entice your senses with rose petal and white pepper notes layered over undertones of black raspberry. Its mouthfeel is compelling and distinctive. At once it feels both soft and bold - gracefully walking the line between silk and velvet. Its perfect acidity and exemplary structure lead to an ethereal finish highlighted by hints of marionberry and dark chocolate truffles.
Domaine Serene Monogram exemplifies the greatness of Oregon Pinot Noir, fulfilling Ken Evenstad’s vision of a robust and more structured style of Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley. Made in extremely small volumes, Monogram is carefully hand-selected from our finest barrels, and only produced when the vintage is appropriate.
The latest Monogram release offers complexity and depth not commonly found in Oregon or New World Pinot Noir. Upon approach, layers of dark chocolate, cherries and tamarind fill the glass. On the palate, this rare and exclusive wine dances softly - showcasing silky tannins and a freshness that seems to glide and coat every corner of the palate with delicious, dark fruit flavors. Perfectly balanced, the acidity and structure make this wine extremely age-worthy. With proper cellaring, this stunning wine will continue to enhance and evolve for decades.
