A collection of wines produced from classic varietals of Italy. Starting in the north, Barbera from Piedmont. Traveling through Tuscany with Sangiovese and finishing in the land of Primitivo: Puglia.
These are the Washington grown grapes from the single vineyard selections, Cervo, Cinghiale, Porcospino. Made for you by the Famiglia Smith: Charles, Ginevra, Charlotte.
Italian inspired and locally produced, ViNO was created by Charles Smith in 2010 with the inaugural release of a 100% Pinot Grigio. This is in keeping with the vision of producing Italian varietals with the same integrity as they would be produced in Italy. Hand-made wines that are a great value and delicious to drink.

From this Winery

This wine smells terrific. Red berry, cranberry, black plum skin, fresh snow, alpine air and tobacco. Pine needles carry from the first sniff and then amplify in the mouth in the most charming way.

Potpourri of bitter cherry, sandalwood, decomposed roses. Tastes like memories full and vivid. Suede, tomato leaf, and of-the-earth. Color of red brick.

TASTING NOTES BY WINEMAKER CHARLES SMITH
If you’re thinking pizza! If you’re thinking spaghetti! If you’re thinking steak! I’ve got a wine for you. Black and red raspberry, blackberry, pencil shavings and campfire ash. Medium-bodied and full-flavored. A wine just waiting to be drunk. So just drink.
