Winemaker Penny Gadd-Coster left her position as sparkling winemaker for Jordan’s acclaimed ‘J’ brand sparkling wines in 2007 to become Head of Winemaking at Rack & Riddle and played an integral part in the founding and design of Rack & Riddle’s State of the Art winery.
Rack & Riddle understands that producing superior sparkling wines requires using the traditional time and labor intensive ‘Methode Champenoise’ developed in Champagne centuries ago. Deep respect for tradition is complimented by a sparkling new winery using State of the Art equipment and technology to bring to your table what we are think are the best value sparkling wines that California has to offer.
The fruit for the Blanc de Noirs, Blanc de Blancs, and Brut comes from sustainable vineyards in the cool North Coast and Sonoma County wine growing regions. Rack & Riddle is an organically certified facility.
