1 x Born to Run Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

This Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% American: 50% from the Columbia Valley in Washington State, 50% from California. The Washington State vineyards are located on the edge of Red Mountain in Columbia Valley – this sundrenched climate provides both the structure and finesse of the Old World, with the succulent ripe flavors of the New World. The Washington State fruit was fermented whole berry, and natively, with the wine was on the skins for 35 days – this allowed the wine to develop impressive density and a chewy structure. California vineyards are older vines on the west side of Lodi on the edge of the Delta, which allows for grapes with ripe fruit flavors, natural acidity and complexity. Our California component, which was aged in some oak after a traditional fermentation, is quite soft and luscious. The result is a rich, soft California Cabernet Sauvignon blended with dark, brooding, and structured Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State. A gorgeous blend that’s all its own and more complex than its parts.

1 x Casa Smith Cervo Barbera 2017

92 Points, James Suckling (v2016)  “This is tangy and salty with a dense and wild-fruit center palate that show so much intensity and freshness. An energetic, driven finish.” 90 Points, Jeb Dunnuck (formerly of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate) (v2016) “Deep ruby/purple-colored, the 2016 Barbera Cervo Northridge Vineyard is another knockout value. Blackberry, smoked meat, herbs, and earth nuances all give way to a full-bodied, concentrated, beautifully textured, silky effort that’s already hard to resist.”

The vintage’s fresh acidity lends structure to this silky expression of Merlot leaving a lingering, savory finish.

1 x Charles Smith Wines Eve Chardonnay 2017

This is Charles’s tribute to Washington, the Apple State. And if you think the name Eve is associated with temptation now, just wait until you taste this sinfully good Chardonnay. Eve is pure, tempting, and undeniably Washington State. With fresh, fruity flavors and a crisp, bright mouth feel reminiscent of Washington State’s famous apples, this dry Chardonnay has been winning awards ever since its grapes left the garden. Some say Adam and Eve taught the rest of us about good and evil. Which explains how, today, we know damn well that our Eve Chardonnay is wickedly good.
